When your car dies, the internet fails you in a specific way: you search "towing near me" and get a wall of ads, lead-generation sites pretending to be local companies, and call centres that mark up a tow they'll subcontract to whoever answers. The actual local operator - the one ten minutes away with the right truck - is buried on page two.
Get Towing is the opposite of that. We list real, independent Canadian towing and roadside companies with their real names, real numbers and real capabilities. When you call a number on this site, it rings the company's own dispatch. We never sit in the middle of your call, your price, or your tow.
Every company here started from a verified Google Maps business record. Where the company publishes its own website, we've read it and built the profile from what the operator actually says they do - their equipment, coverage area, hours and specialties - written in our own words, never copied. Companies without websites get a clean listing with name, address, phone, rating and hours: enough to call with confidence.
Rankings on city pages are earned, not sold by default: they're ordered by Google rating weighted by review depth. Companies can pay for a clearly-marked featured position, but paid placement never changes the honest information in a profile.
Towing companies can claim their listing free, and pay for featured placement if they want more visibility. That's it. Drivers never pay us anything, and we don't take a cut of any tow.
