The plain-language version first: we run a directory. We don't require accounts, we don't sell personal data, and calling a towing company from this site connects you directly to that company - we're not on the line.
From drivers: essentially nothing personal. Standard web server logs (IP address, pages viewed, browser type) are kept for security and aggregate analytics. We don't require registration to use the directory.
From towing companies: business contact information you provide when claiming a listing or purchasing featured placement - business name, contact name, email, phone. Business listings themselves are compiled from publicly available sources (public business registries, Google Maps business data, and each company's own published website).
Operate and improve the directory, respond to correction requests, administer claimed listings and featured placements, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell or rent personal information. We use privacy-respecting analytics where feasible; any third-party analytics or hosting providers (e.g., Cloudflare) process technical data under their own published policies.
Under PIPEDA (and Quebec's Law 25 for Quebec residents), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Business owners may request corrections to their listings at any time. Contact us through our contact page. We respond within 30 days.
This site works without tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics that use cookies, this policy and an appropriate notice will be updated first.
