Heavy-duty recovery specialists since 1962
Quiring Towing & Recovery traces back to 1962, when Elmer and Ann Quiring bought the Esso service station on Fraser Highway in Aldergrove, BC that became the company's home base. What started as a fuel station with an automotive repair bay has grown into a heavy-duty towing and recovery specialist reachable around the clock through its emergency dispatch line, handling everything from a routine tow across town to recovering vehicles and cargo from major accident scenes throughout Western Canada. The business has stayed in the Quiring family for more than six decades: after Elmer and Ann stepped back from the business in 1975, their sons took over, and today Robert and Pamela's son Allan operates the company's tri-axle wrecker unit while Tami manages the office. Quiring Towing was among the first companies to tow for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia after it formed in 1972, and it continues to work with ICBC, private insurers and vehicle manufacturer warranty roadside programs for commercial fleets, alongside charge accounts for approved companies and standard card payments. Beyond routine towing, the crew has handled difficult recoveries over the years, including pulling a logging truck and trailer off a mountainside near North Bend and recovering a loaded Super B truck that ended up in a river in Pine Pass. The company has also pulled animals from wells and septic tanks in joint operations with local fire departments, and runs training scenarios with area firefighters on safe recovery techniques. Quiring Towing remains an active part of its Aldergrove community, sponsoring local events and participating in safety fairs when trucks aren't out on a call. For anyone in the Lower Mainland or Western Canada needing an experienced heavy-duty recovery operator with a long track record, Quiring Towing & Recovery has the history and equipment to handle it.
