Loyalist City Towing has been towing vehicles out of Saint John, New Brunswick since the early 1970s, when two brothers started the business with a single truck and grew it into the region's official towing company. Its heavy recovery division adds off-road recovery, accident response, ramp trucks, and equipment hauling to the mix, and the fleet's standout unit is a 2013 Kenworth T800 twin-steer rotator built on a five-axle chassis with an NRC 40/50 Composite Sliding Rotator and tag axle; no other unit of its type operates in the region, and it is capable of lifts over 100,000 pounds using four winches for jobs like loading stacked trailers, hoisting motors from heavy trucks, or handling recoveries too complex for standard equipment. The company primarily serves Atlantic Canada but holds licensing that allows it to operate into the U.S. as far south as Maine, and it can also retrieve vehicles that broke down stateside and bring them home for repair in Canada. Dispatch runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the company accepts all major credit cards, cash, and auto club memberships.
